In the photograph on the left side of this page,
bright neon signs light up the night, indicating to viewers the location
of LAX airport in the City of Los Angeles. The bright illumination
allows airplane pilots to determine the location of the airport, and also
gives weary travelers a well-lit guide toward their destination.
Even in the dark of night, the airport never sleeps. As electricity
lights up the roadways and runways, airplanes taking their travelers to
both nearby and distant destinations depart and arrive. Signs
illuminated by hi-tech lighting equipment guide travelers to their
destinations, ensuring that they make their flights on time.
